Mouse Glue Traps are the fastest method of eradicating mice from your home or business, preventing mouse populations from increasing and spreading disease.   

Suitable for use in both commercial and domestic properties when poison or traditional traps have proved unsuccessful or cannot be used.  

Ideal for restaurants and other food premises where alternative food sources hamper control with rodenticide. There is no reliance on mice taking bait, they will simply run over the traps and become stuck to the extra-strong adhesive. 

• Carefully peel off the backing paper, being careful not to touch the adhesive. 

• Place glue traps about 2-3m apart in areas where mouse activity has been noticed. For best results, lay flat at the edges of the room, along rodent runs and near possible points of entry. 

• The special folding design is useful for conditions where dust or other substances may stick to the adhesive and reduce efficacy. Simply fold into a box shape and place against walls. 

• Traps must be inspected every 12 hours and captured mice disposed of quickly and humanely. Remove traps if inspection cannot be carried out at these intervals. 

• DO NOT use outdoors or in areas where there is a risk of trapping non-target species.  

• In the event of accidental contact with the adhesive, remove using vegetable oil followed by washing with warm soapy water. 

• Not suitable for use in damp conditions or in very low temperatures.

Rodent glue boards should only be used by people who are required to use this type of rodent control as part of their work and who have received appropriate information, instruction and training.

Currently it is not an offence under the Glue Traps (Offences) Act 2022 to purchase or to sell rodent glue traps in the UK.

It is your responsibility as a user of rodent glue traps to ensure you follow all the relevant rules and regulations relating to the use of rodent glue boards.

For use in England, as from 31^st July 2024 in order to apply these products legally a formal licence is required before rodent glue boards may be used.

Only professional users with clearly defined proof of competence already in place can apply to Natural England for a licence. Areas of potential use are greatly restricted.

Any unlicensed use of rodent glue boards in England is illegal from 31^st July 2024.

For use in Scotland and in Northern Ireland, as of 31^st July 2024 there remain no restrictions on sale or use of rodent glue boards. Restrictions may be imposed in future and if they are then this guidance will change.

Use of rodent glue boards in Wales by any type of user was made illegal from 17^th October 2023.
